AMCOM has wide experience in providing interpreting services. We are always ready to provide both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting services for conferences, congresses, seminars and other forums. Simultaneous interpreting requires interpreters to be highly qualified, as the process of interpreting runs in parallel with the speaker’s speech. To ensure high quality performance, two interpreters are used, taking turns every 15-20 minutes. It is vital that the interpreters can familiarise themselves with the topic of the event by receiving helpful material on the subject in question, prepared speeches, PPT presentations, etc. beforehand. In addition, we are able to provide equipment for simultaneous interpreting, including microphones, headphones, interpreting booths etc. Another widespread form of interpreting is consecutive interpreting, when interpreting is done during pauses in speeches. For the interpreter this is an easier, and for the Client a cheaper, method of interpreting. It is commonly used in business or other types of negotiation as well as in conferences and other events. To provide this service AMCOM employs well-educated and experienced interpreters specialising in a wide range of subjects.
